come back of the season!
i got this christmas cactus for my friend, and she gave it to her roommate to watch over during winter break.
when i saw it next, it was so overwatered that the leaves were extremely saturated and a dark green color due to being filled with water. i had to throw 75% of it away cause there was no coming back.
these leaves were the only ones left. it is producing its first growth in over two months. no better feeling than bringing it back to life.
i’ve left it in its nursery pot and gave it minimal repotting. i didn’t want to shock the plant more than it already had been, but i’ll repot if people think it’s best for the plant.

The Bigfoot X Velvet mask is doing pretty good after a little root problem, high humidity, nice most sphagnum and perlite with some feed and it’s sprouting roots with crazy! Can’t wait to receive some larger leaves from this hybrid as it has striking dark velvety leaves, fused sinuses and striking white veining :)

‼️ HELP ‼️ - my Alocasia African mask & Silver Dragon aren’t doing so well .. I had posted my mother plant Alocasia African Mask not too long ago struggling and needing some help (which y’all were super helpful) and realized it needed to be repotted. I did that but then decided to transfer my Alocasias into Leca soil. It seems like the roots are good, but my leaves on my African mask are all dropping and yellowing. My silver dragon is still trying to hang on but the ends of the leaves are brown and crispy. Can anyone give me some pointers on these?
