First time plant owner. I was gifted this plant 3 years ago , it was a tiny little plant in a novelty bag . I don’t know what it’s called and honestly how I should care for it. It lives on the window sill. It’s very green and shiny, but just lately it has started to grown wonky 😬. Any tips on how to fix it

Hey you all! I just wanted to say that if you live in the central Texas area, go to Tillery Street plant shop. It’s HEAVEN! A massive greenhouse full of tropical plants. Plus there are a few carnivores in there too! The wall of pots is HEAVEN! Oh and it’s right next door to Austin Succulents ( if you like succulents you’ll be in heaven ) ok maybe I ranted a bit 😂

I am just stunned, this regal shield does not give a damn that its winter 🫀 Shes been popping out new leaves, and this one is gonna be a beast ! Thank you costco best plant i have ever found for cheap 🥹 I am curious if i should try to look for corms😂
I finally got a little setup! of course it’s cloudy and dark today, but it looks so much better than the slanted shoe rack I was using before.

I thought I was stupid picking a calathea as my first plant 🪴 it was 19cm I bought her! I’m standing on tip toes to take photos & new leaves seem to be coming through every couple of days! had a mist & fertilised today x
