Plant addicts from Seattle, I found these rescued pink princess philodendrons for only $3 at Peace, love and happiness club.
Underrated Foliage Plant… I love my foliage plants mostly because of how diverse they come. Patterns, fenestrations, growing styles, you name it… but can we give this girl a chance in the spotlight? Those feather patterns and the chocolate undersides….😍Ahe really is an underrated beauty🥰
My fiddle leaf fig no even 1 year later.,, And going/growing strong Thank you “Planta”
Almost forgot this sweet little gem! This is Fernice! She’s just happy to be here
The first new leaf on my Thai constellation since I’ve had it ☺️💚 and it looks like new growth is on the way :)
Adding some plants!
My happy place🥰
Newest editions! If you have any tips for them I would love to hear them!
Hey hey, I’m proving that I can keep a non succulent alive long enough to pop out another leaf. The stress marks on the other leaves happened within the first few days, but I figured it out, mostly. TBH this plant is so so so much easier to deal with than a tiny succulent with 1000 little nooks that require a magnifying glass to inspect.
And last (for TODAY😉) but not least, welcoming Dumbo, my Alocasia Polly to the mix. He’s sweet y’all,
Meet Betty. My new sweet basil plant
Also welcoming Gloria, the lovely Philo Brasil to her new home
Isn’t she lovely? Isn’t she wonderful? Name is Sprite! Welcome Philo Lemonlime to her new home
She has survived chopping her down twice- both due to frost/cold damage.
Friend of mine moved to a new home and donated his plants to me. I’m fairly new at this but I gave it a bit of a make over
Long story short - my grandpa was my hero; Bumpa passed 8 years ago this summer. When he was in the service, he brought a cactus home for my grandma…and it’s been in the family since. For just over two decades, this cactus lived in the backyard of my grandma’s house where it was existing, but not thriving. It started to die last summer and my grandma’s heart was heartbroken. She asked me to do what I could to save it. So I did the research, severed the pads safely, and unfortunately only one of the three I cut survived. The smallest, least mature pad kept fighting over the last 6-8 months…and now it has grown a friend 🥹 I’m getting married this year, yet another milestone without Bumpa…but this…this felt like a sign and not a single person is going to convince me otherwise.
New plants! Collection growing fast
