I have my first ever tomato!! 🍅 ❤️
My sweet little collection.
My peony is blooming!!! 😍😍😍😍
I've been quickly adding new plants to my house. I went from 0 to a window of succulents in 2 months. Don't know why I hadn't picked a couple up before now.
I’m super happy! My tradescantia lilac plant (Common Names: Wandering Jew or Fantasy Venice) started flowering for me and I’ve only had it for 3 months. ✨😊✨ I love when my plants flower for me! It means they are happy. 💖
The decline of my birds of Paradise really got me into researching plants and then I started to obsess over having a bunch of them. My cousin gave me some clipping of a monstera she had and I propagated them and finally planted it. After that I just fully committed to being a crazy plant person. I picked up quite the collection from Home Depot and then spent the last 4 days researching, potting, rearranging, repeat, etc.. and this is my new cozy plant corner! I have no idea what I’m doing but me and Chat GBT have been figuring it out together!
Repotted and treated prophylactically (is that a real word?) with neem oil. I’m really into fun pots this summer!!
My happy place. ❤️
Got these guys their own light 💡Hope they like it! 💚🪴
Can you identify them all ?
Figgie Smalls, the fiddle-leaf fig.
June 2024 💚 Devils Ivy 💚 aka Jade
What happened?!! My burgundy rubber was full and lively but had fungus gnats from the nursery I bought her at. So I changed her soil and washed the pot. I used a mix of tropical and all purpose soil. I know repotting plants can be stressful but I feel this plant is dying. Leaves are droopy and browning and fall off in droves daily!! And… even though my soil has no gnats…this plant has gnats again, or still! I’ve separated it and used sticky traps but mainly I wonder what is wrong with her to droop and brown and be so sad!!
Plant day is every day 😃
Whyyyyyy do succulents hate me!! Ugh. Is this a fungal infection? I had this happen to another succulent recently. This one was doing fine just a week ago
Got my tv mounted so i had space for two new plants meet Peach, my Bonnie Spider plant and An Li, my Chinese Evergreen
Look at the beautiful plant I got today 💚
First fenestration on monstera mint! 🥹
Beautiful gift from my son and his family. I hope it’s easy! Edit: I watered and inspected Kirk (in my mind, he’s Ron, probably not the first). I found white dust underneath every leaf. The leaf pictured was the worst. I’m pretty sure it’s just dust from shipping and handling. I’m going to keep a close watch. But if anyone thinks it’s something serious please tell me. I have never had this sort of plant before. Thank you!
I got this plant on a whim 12 days ago (photo 1), and it has already grow the two smallest leaves (photo 2)! These photos do not do her justice; in the sunlight the silver glitters. And! She’s fuzzy! She’s tied with my Thai Constellation for prettiest foliage in my collection. I bought her as a streptocarpus ‘pretty turtle’. However, after much confusion & having that name bring up a different plant on Planta… I believe Planta is correct and that she is actually a primulina dryas ‘pretty turtle’. Just in case anyone else finds this beauty, I hope this saves you the consternation I experienced 😅
