First time growing a cucumber plant (well, second, but animals ate the first one), and I found a super cute little baby cucumber!!!!!! I’m so excited! I hope to use it for homemade pickles when it’s done!!

Introducing… LESTAT!!! Lestat is a bat winged Alocasia. I purchased him a week ago at Lowe’s for $24 and yesterday he was transplanted into this planter. He came with the yellowing on the leaves already. I told an acquaintance that I’ve been purchasing plants at Walmart and Home Depot and she said I should go to Lowe’s instead. There was a way better selection at Lowe’s! Btw the little worm is a moisture indicator.

I moved this Frydek to “Sydney the Plant Guy’s” no drainage/leca/moss set up in April/May (?). I’d tried transitioning to just straight pon last fall and she didn’t take well to it. First pic is in early July. Second pic today! 😍. She’s just taken OFF!!! I probably should have put her up a wee bit higher in the pot when I transitioned her. There are at least two plants in here now. The smaller one is blocked by the bigger one. She gets showered/rinsed everytime I top off the nutrient solution to stave off spider mites. #iykyk. 1/2 strength GT Foliage Focus at every watering. Gets the PRIME spot directly under a Soltech grow light.

My tropical hibiscus appears to be healthy but it has stopped blooming with new buds dropping off. Is it just because it’s 100+ degrees these days? I’m in zone 8b and it gets morning sun. Any advice would be appreciated!

I had to share this because I thought it was cool. One of my cats bit the stem of a new leaf of my money tree. I didnt initially remove it because none of the other leaves were wilting. Fast forward two weeks and it has basically bandaged itself up❤️🩹
