Root bound and when to repot. Is it a good idea to repot a plant with big leaves and little to no new roots into a smaller pot to promote root growth? Should I be saying goodbye to the leaves it has already? Will I have to? This is the plant in question. I took this picture a couple days ago but it’s pushing out new growth already so I know the new soil is helping that but will the smaller “pot” do the trick to promote more roots?

1 year progress of my lucky bamboo 😊 I propagated it from my parents’ bamboo that was outgrowing their kitchen, just chopped off the top of it and stuck it in some soil. I’m so happy that it’s grown a lot and is so healthy!
