From the South African quartz fields to Northern Utah mountains, proof of adaptability. I feel like this is the test of going from white to a purple belt. I’m honestly still in shock. And imagine if human labor and delivery took 9 days ❤️

I finally got lights for my shelves, and the mixture of my decor and plants make me so happy. It’s all finally coming together. 🥹. Next up, finally making my floating shelves. 😅
my first caladium grew so quickly❤️ are they always this tall? Or is it a lighting issue?
Just got my first air plants! they’re so cute 😭🫶🏻🫶🏻 if you have any tips please share!
Got this baby, ‘jungle boogie’ Philodendron in the mail, hasn’t been doing good. Any tips??

New babies ❤️
Repotted some plants. Below are the before and after. Joe the jalapeño, Spike the kalanchoe, Goliath the oregano, and Athena the Echeveria. Also welcomed new members to the backyard; Barcelona the basil and Italy the self-heal.
I believe I have a baby calladium growing
My plants are all doing great but did you know that we should all bond with our plants? I’m not exactly sure how to do that 🥲, so could someone give me some tips and pointers? 😄
Just got this cutie. Hoya Hindu Rope plant. Hopefully I can keep it alive!
Got this begonia from etsy and she was in terrible shape when she arrived. I have managed to revive her and needs to be repotted. How big should I go? She is pretty tall.
Aw, hello baby! ^.^

I’m apparently living right today. 🥹💜
Say this one fast: Tephrocactus articulatus papyracanthus. I ran an errand and thought I might peep in on some more "flowery" succulents (i.e. a big Echeveria type) that don't need the afternoon sun to thrive. The boutique plants find me. Like, really. I typed “nurseries” into Maps to figure out my new neighborhood, and the plant spirits guided me haha. I hadn’t seen this species at Home Depot (I’m not there every morning, but I regularly check in), and it was shoved way under the shelf. It could use some light and nutrients, and it needs to work on growing another neck. Note that this guy is three times the size of the other specimen in my collection. When deciding which of the 50 versions of “well draining soil” to use on succulents, I usually glance over where it lives (Western Argentina in this case). “It is easy to grow but usually couldn’t get very tall as segment kept falling apart” and “is very easy to grow by just knocking off one of the 'cones' and stuffing it in the ground” sounds like a no-brainer. Looking at the underground root system (this is a mature plant), I’m safe in assuming it prefers to get busy above ground 😀 (I used a mix of yellow bag soil, pumice and clay balls. Nothing complicated.) This species is one of my favorites because it always looks frozen in a chaotic moment.
Here’s some of my tiniest new growth! Share your favorite new leaves ☺️
Mounted my hoya on a cork bark with soil & moss. Pretty happy with how it turned out!
Gloss is pushing out a new one too! I can’t wait until she turns black!
