Finally! An inflorescence on my retrocalla! Excited to see these blooms! However I’ve been wondering did I mount this orchid upside down?

Stuck while naming this lil one. I’m choosing between Saigon and pepper, and for now I’m leaning more towards pepper.

Peperomia appreciation post! 🥰 They’ve become a quick favorite for me. Feel free to turn this into a thread to share all your peperomias 🌱 (For anyone wondering, in order they should be: peperomia obtusifolia with marble variegation, peperomia clusiifolia red margin, watermelon peperomia, and variegated peperomia obtusifolia “sweet and sour”)

Thought I’d share my cover pot for my watermelon peperomia, Wanda. For anyone looking for one, I picked it up at Ten Thousand Villages. They also ship online from their website if you don’t have one near you 😊 I’d love to see everyone else’s watermelon peperomias, so feel free to share yours in the comments.

I just want to share my plant progress. I started with my polkadot begonia about a year ago, and since then I’ve slowly been gaining plants. I don’t have a ton of space because I have cats and try to limit my plants to ones that they either won’t be hurt by or that I can keep away from them. So far I’ve got 13 and they’re beautiful. All of them except 4 are “rescues” that I got either on sale because they were sick/dying, or they were given to me. The 4 that aren’t rescues are ones I got because I just really liked them (pink princess philodendron, string of hearts, haworthia zebra, and calathea musaica). I’m so proud of them all and they each have a story attached to them, which makes them all the more special to me. The ones pictured are just what I have indoors, there are a few outside but I’ve limited those because we have hungry raccoons and groundhogs that like to eat anything you put on the ground, so I have to hang my plants up high 😂

I’ve just been really proud of my monstera recently I decided to get it a friend, a Thai constellation! First time owning a stable variegated plant so any tips would be awesome! 🫶
