Look at my babes I got from Lowes today.
Started these guys from seed back in winter 2024. They were just small little plants all of 2025. Then exploded this year. Every time I park my car I see them and Iâm mesmerized. Only 9 seeds grew. But I have 40+ flowers.
Rescued a couple kiddos from Lowes clearence yesterdayđ Falkor was a bit sad with some yellow and damaged leaves i went ahead and snipped. However, is actively pushing out new leaves and i found new corms forming upon root inspectionđ Tim the Enchanter had one pretty brown crispy leaf i trimmed. Most of the roots were good, had to trim some that looked iffy. I think they will be just fineđ and of course you ALWAYS have to grab a rex begonia- thats the rules
He survived the ride home from Walmart to meet the rest of my plant posse! Doesnât even have a name yet, open to suggestions!đȘŽđ„ł (and care tips are very welcome please!)
Just showing off some of my favorite plants!!! I would love to see yours so feel free to show them off in the comments!!!!
So I rescued this monstera a little before winter started. She's.....wild. My question is should I.....chop her and kind of get her like oriented one way? I know technically they have a front and a back and as it is now.....she don't have a back.....
Iâve heard before that it is very rare for a Moon Valley Pilea to bloom indoorsâŠwell, Marvin had a few blooms when I bought him at Walmart! After a month, or so, under my care he has only gotten happier!!!đȘŽđ„łđ
Sharing my beautiful peony. Only 2 flowered this year. Pinched the smaller buds earlier for larger blooms.
frank has had an odd life. He had two parents growing straight out of pot. Would constantly get sick. then frank started growing sideways. Out and away form the abusive household. He went as far as he could. Literally as soon as the parent leaves fully died. frank sprouted upwards and formed a new strong leaf as far away form the pot as possible. looks like heâs starting to have a new friend aswell. So happy!!
so happy theyâre happy!
Novaâs new branch progress! Lookin strong!đ„ł
Is it weird to be excited about a plant thatâs not even yours? My work has planters everywhere and one of the floors has this big monstera shooting out two new leaves! I walk by it once a week to see if theyâve unfurled lol
Ever buy a pot with regret? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Self: But the pot looked so cute. đ Miranda Plant: Bless your heart. No drainage. Non-porous. No matching pale cerulean saucer (why is no one ready.) Our own little coffins for our trip on the Titanic II. And you thought âSo cuteâ that weâd die in this.đ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Drainage. Ok, yes there was no drainage hole at all. Not even a stopper covering a hole, nor a dent to place a hole. I carefully used my Dremel and I put an adequate single hole in the bottom of the small pot. No matching pale cerulean saucer. Well with no hole it didnât need a saucer. I keep looking for one though out of the bargain bins. Non-porous. Ok yes not as porous as clay but I only throughly water the succulent when the dirt has turned to rock because itâs so dried out. There are two types succulents in here. That tiny bud, lower right, was a leaf that fell on the floor from a different succulent and so I threw it in this pot too. All living in this pot for at least a year.
Just got these toddlers in. Its going to be a interesting summer for me with them
Canât believe I found this gem on FB marketplace đ She is just gorgeous.
New plant caregiver! Two weeks ago I had one. Now with the help of my friend and plant guru Iâve found 9 lovelies to cherish.
These are just a few of my plants that are really just showing off. Upping the game for the rest of my collection. đ„°đ„°
Found someone on social media who made an orchid tree and really wanted to replicate it. I made some small adjustments, like using driftwood I found on our local beach and hereâs the finished product. I absolutely love it. I wish I could give credit to the person who originally posted it, but unfortunately I canât find the post anymore.
Well, Iâve managed to kill off another herb. That makes 3 herbs in the graveyard in a very short amount of time. First it was Dill, then Basil and now Oregano. Iâm starting to feel like a miserable failure when it comes to herbs. đą
