Moved my coleus cuttings outside about a month ago and they are loving it.
My gloriosa lily finally opened. 🥰
Wow! I can’t believe it! Look at all the new growth on my English Thyme! Apparently this is the only herb I can grow!
my little farm box in the suburbs 💙🌱 I have poblanos, three tomato plants, basil and two strawberry plants
My Christmas Cactus is popping out a bit of new growth! He’s gone downhill for a few years now. Zero drainage in the cool looking pot he came in and I’ve seriously been procrastinating on repotting! Pretty sure if I get to it soon he will reward me with a bounce back…can you bring a pot to a hardware store to have them drill drainage holes!? I don’t own a drill.
Found this giant snail shell on the shore of the lake by our home and, like we do, instantly thought “that would make a great planter” 😆❤️
Decided straight in big.pots and straight outside block where live against a.fence Tall sunflowers (decent seeds)

How has nobody warned me that alocasia blooms smell like straight up grass? it's also very strong, my whole room smells like grass now. Anyways, my flowering silver dragon everyone ☺️
Yesterday I hit the jackpot on less common finds. A string of dolphins for $4 at Kroger, and a Global green and Baltic blue at Walmart. My favorite thing: browse the plant section “just to see what’s there.” 😁😁 Now. Can I keep the string alive? I am a serial succulent slaughterer for some reason. (A number of string of pearls have perished on my watch and I have a cotyledon that sort of limps along…). Wish me luck. 🍀
My Florida Ghost is living her best life.
I duge these up out of someone's yard that didn't want them had no idea they bloomed beautiful flowers
Had to cut her because she was falling over.
Decided to name my new Spider Plant Peter…as in Parker! I already have a Hoya cutting I named Gwen…as in Stacy! 🪴🥳😂

I’m so happy I finished this!
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! 1 snipped pad in 2021, from a near by neighbor’s hanging-into the-ally plant, has produced so many pads. And this year, the second year, I’m being thanked by that pad, and its descendants, with all these yellow, sun bursting, gorgeous flowers!
I cannot remember if I brought this with me in June 2009 or if it was already in the house when I moved in. Not many would have kept an old wooden, over the toilet with shelves, rack that they themselves hadn’t purchased, I.e. a left over. This old wooden bathroom rack has seen 17 years of holding everything from friends possessions, to roommate shelving items, and all in my back bedroom. I honestly thought everyone my age, and who went to school at the same time as I did, learned how wasteful previous generations were, and that everything should be reused. I guess that crying Native American in a canoe died a long time ago. Maybe that’s when Generation X, my generation, stopped caring about things, well except for money. When it came to money everyone believed the Ronald Regan lie. Consumerism (v): Action by a species to consume and never be full while creating species waste.
