My first bromeliad flower! And looks like thereâs more to come. I had no idea it would be such a lovely violet color. Something sweet and beautiful while I go through heartbreak đ„Čâ€ïžâđ©čMy partner of two years unexpectedly broke up with me, so the plant collection and I had to pick up our sorry pots and move back in with my mom last week. Feels bleak, but the plants are still growing and the flowers are still blooming. Guess I better take notes from them đȘŽ

Need some tips on spider plantsâŠ. Do you prune them? Mine are both massive and I canât up their pot sizes anymore as theyâre getting on the big side anyway. Root bound and when to repot. Is it a good idea to repot a plant with big leaves and little to no new roots into a smaller pot to promote root growth? Should I be saying goodbye to the leaves it has already? Will I have to? This is the plant in question. I took this picture a couple days ago but itâs pushing out new growth already so I know the new soil is helping that but will the smaller âpotâ do the trick to promote more roots?

1 year progress of my lucky bamboo đ I propagated it from my parentsâ bamboo that was outgrowing their kitchen, just chopped off the top of it and stuck it in some soil. Iâm so happy that itâs grown a lot and is so healthy!
