Day 1 of rescue vs day 120! This poor little monstera was absolutely covered in thrips and my coworker was throwing it away. I named him Frankie (aka Frankenstein) since I believed he could come back. Thankfully I was right! 😁

All About Plants

Jus want to show what a little tender loving care can do for a plant. Last month I post this plant asking for help to identify, as I didn’t know how to take care of it. Someone actually asked me if the plant was alive, lol. After properly identified and some tender loving care my Aeonium Arboreum started to bloom bigger, greener, and more rounded flowers. It has only been a month, but you can actually see the difference how it was and what it looks like now. Can’t wait until it gets fuller. Love the effect of the sun in the early morning and how the color looks bright colorful. Thank you Planta and those that helped me to identify it.

My Christmas cactus’s first ever blooms! I saved him from death at a gas station last year. wasn’t sure how that would turn out. Turns out, he LOVES my classroom! I honestly didn’t do anything special except using the self-watering plant pot to control more or less water availability for the plant during the year. This app says the plant is placed too sunny, but it seems to like my sunny classroom (it is several feet from the windows).
