Avocado update!!! 🥑 I honestly had very little hope the seed would sprout because I forgot it in a Ziploc bag for months it completely dried out but I decided to give it a chance and threw it in some soil and BOOM, here is the little guy today! Freshly repotted in a 6” pot, can't wait for it to fruit for me in like 8 years! 😂 (also, one of it’s leaves burned due to it hitting my grow light) 🥲

All my plants are all packed up and ready to move!!!!
I wish Planta would add an option for tissue cultures when adding a plant. First time doing this and I have new growth and roots for all the ones I’ve done! 9 plants! I’m ecstatic! 2 are curled but have roots and new growth so we’ll see…but the rest 🤌

I constantly hear about calatheas being difficult and moody, but I almost completely forget mine needs watered or anything until plants reminds me it’s time. It’s not in the best lighting in the collection and it doesn’t have the best track record on putting out new leaves. When I got home from work this morning though I found out the new ugly leaf it was working on is actually not a leaf!
