Leaves are drooping on my baby rubber plant. Any tips on how to keep this from happening? He lives on a shady windowsill so maybe not enough sun? Or too much?! I don't know lol I need help 😭😭😭

this is usually water-related. what is the soil like? how often do you water it?

Definitely not often as I should lol 😂 it's probably been three or four weeks since I watered it last

oh yeah, it’s likely VERY thirsty! water it thoroughly until the water comes out of the drainage holes.

Often the soil can go hydrophobic, and you’ll water and think that the soil is saturated because you’ll see it run out the bottom and the top is wet, but the majority of the soil will still be bone dry. Bottom watering allows the soil to rehydrate and absorb what it needs to. Sometimes it takes a while, but you’ll know for sure that the soil is hydrated. You can switch back to top watering next time. I’d put it in a container and fill with water 1/3-1/2 up the side of the pot your plant is in, and then just let it sit. I’d use a wooden skewer to check it every 10 mins or so to see where the moisture level is at, and then pull it out and let it completely drain in the sink once the moisture is about 1-2” from the top.
