What plants would be fine in a north facing window? About 5-6 hour of full sun.

A window facing true north is not good for plants that need bright indirect or direct sunlight. Maybe the window is more east or more west facing. Then, 5-6 hours of direct sunlight (east) would be good depending on the plant.
0 Mi piaceOh ok! Was just wondering because I have both a east and north facing window and my east one is COVERED in plants and my plant shelf, and then the north is bare
0 Mi piaceI have 2 north facing windows, that get about 1-3 hrs direct sun in the AM and 1-3 hrs direct in the PM. And contrary to all information and instinct my plants that THRIVE in those spots are my: Pothos (have about 6 different species) Orchids (very random I know) Creeping Fig Philo - vining varieties (brasil, neon, micans) Some of these I move to spots with grow lights for the winter, but most of them I don’t have to move. I’m in SW Canada if that’s any help.
0 Mi piaceMy office only has a north facing window for light. I have a small parlor palm and several air plants that are doing awesome on the window sill. My money tree sits on my desk, maybe a foot away and a spider plant on the top of a bookcase several feet away, both are also thriving.
0 Mi piaceMy 2 north facing windows look like this, but one is a corner so it gets a bit of eastern light. #1: pineapple, spider plant, mystery philodendron but most vining varieties should work
0 Mi piaceWindow 2, this is the corner. Cacti mixed, including Arizona sunshine, bunny ears, and prickly pear. succulents mixed, including pepperoni pincushion/happy bean tree, snake plant, aloes, kalanchoe, zebra plant, and jade plant. Also receiving mixed light from this window is my water propping shelf.
