My Leafy Life

My Cylinder Snake Plant has pups! I am very surprised by this because I just got her. I didn't think she would settle in so quickly not that she would sprout new ones so fast. She can with a rubber band around her base to keep the cylinders together. These babies are outside of the rubber band. I'm not sure what to do when the get taller. Do I let them do their thing or somehow add them to the group.

These cylinder snake plants are some of my favourites! The rubber band isn’t necessary to keep the plant upright. I usually remove it and any other foam wrapping typically wrapped around their root system. They do just fine with being ‘held’ together.

There are six of them growing outside of the rubber band which means I may have to put them in a wider pot soon. I have some 5 inch shallow terra cotta pots and a cute one with birds.
