New plant mum

I’m a new plant mum 🌿 I’m trying this year to keep all of my plants alive and try to add more to the family 🙌🏼 any suggestions or advice, I would be grateful 💚

    Hello! I’m not quite sure if light hits those shelves, but I know inadequate amount of light could be the demise of your plants. Look up your plants and see what kind of light they like! Cactus especially like full sun 6-8 hours a day. Happy growing! 🩷✨

    I’ve found that grow lights make a huge difference for me ☺️ I just get the inexpensive clamp-on ones from amazon and they’ve done just fine. Good luck!!!

      Yep same here! my plants have 3 lights! I have actually gotten a special bulb and put it in a normal fixture… it looks and works great 👍🏼

    I’m agree with the other folks, you may need to add grow lights. I have the Barrina strip lights under my shelves. They’re the better than a few others I’ve tried because you can daisy chain them together a few different ways. They connect directly to each other and they give you an extension cord you can use to connect them together if you want to space them out.They’re easy to hide. I also use Sansi bulbs and clip on lights. Pictures below.

    Go ahead and stock up on Sticky Traps for the Summer for those fungus gnats. Other ways to help avoid them: Mix together neem oil, dish soap, rubbing alcohol (optional) and water in a spray bottle. Misquote Bits, Let soil dry between waterings, sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of soil, or get one of those bug catchers!
