I got this plant about 2 months ago and it was striving! It almost look fake, I repotted it into too big of a pot so it’s starting to wilt. I was wondering if you guys could figure out what type of plant this little one is and what can help with it rotting! There’s also a TON of tiny little flying bugs. I’m just about to trim down some of the dead leaves but I’m really wanting to know the type of plant it is!

sounds like root rot i would repot in smaller pot and cut off any dead roots. and when u have bare roots with zero dirt on them spray in hydrogen peroxide lightly to stop spread of rot

These guys are happy being somewhat root bound. Don’t be fooled by the leaf size, keeping it in a smaller pot is a good way to ensure it doesn’t stay soggy. Mine is almost 2 ft tall and in a 12” pot and he his thriving! I water when he’s 1/2-3/4 dry. I’ve also heard they’re fairly easy to propagate if the rot has progressed too far for the roots to be saved. But I haven’t attempted it yet. Good luck! They are stunning plants as they grow.
