Can anyone help me identify this fern? The leaves are different from my Boston fern š
my first asparagus fern :) what do you think?
Just treated my blue oil fern for mealybugs a second time, and gave him a new pot. I hope he likes growing in sphagnum
My staghorn fernās shield fronds have turned dark and there are new ones growing underneath. Iām pretty new to these and I assume thatās a good thing? Should I just leave it alone and let it do its thing? It seems fairly happy, doesnāt it?
I have a crispy wave fern that seems pretty healthy. I have had it since June. I have tried to be very careful about the watering schedule and sunlight levels. It gets filtered water via bottom watering. The one thing Iāve noticed is that the rosette hasnāt produced new leaves since I purchased it. It looks like there are two leaves in process, but they have been like that since I got it. (He little bits of white powder are diatomaceous earth) Any recommendations? Is that how it should be? Maybe more sunlight?
Ferns keep fernin
I got this fern for free at a plant shop because kids could pick out a free plant. I love it but itās soil almost never dries out. It also hasnāt grown as much recently.
I would like to introduce everyone to Freddy my baby maidenhair. What makes him really special is that I got him at my hometown nursery! Heās my first fern too. Iām excited to watch him grow!
I had several mini maiden and lemon button ferns that I got at a local nursery. Today I was examining them and they all had a dash plug so I decided to repot them. For now I put them all together in a terracotta pot and I think it looks so pretty. If any of them end up being unhappy I will transfer them to their own pot. Do you think itās OK to combine different ferns?
Can you please ID the two mini ferns I have? I am curious if planta is correct. The one on the right doesnāt like living with me as much as the one on the left.
Hello all - I am desperately trying to keep my staghorn fern alive and looking for any solutions that may help. Iāve had this plant for many years and itās made several moves to different houses. I had it sitting in my house near a northern facing window and it was struggling. I assumed from too little light. About 3 weeks ago I moved it to my porch which faces east, and gets about 2 hour of sun a day through tree canopy. I still have large fronds that are falling off, which are yellow and darker brown at the base. Any ideas?!
I over watered my fern :( I was following the instructions on this app. Do you think itās salvageable? Any tips?
Hi there! My first fern, a white rabbits foot, is not doing so hot. Watered weekly, nursery pot, fertilized with super diluted liquid 1x/month or so, next to a window but mounted on the ceiling and his leaves are droopy, crunchy and falling off. Iām worried I over fertilized, because thereās no way heās under-wateredā¦but the fertilizer was super diluted too. Would love your thoughts!
Brown tips on my fern plant leaves? Any tips to resolve this problem?
The Boston is sending up some new fronds in its new location. It might take a few more months to really look good, but itās starting to look much healthier. š„°
