Hey all!! Does anyone know if this is due to overwatering? I have been trying to reduce watering frequency but it doesnât seem to be getting better. As you can see from the history itâs doing worse and worse. I just swapped to using distilled water, and I am hoping to see if anyone else has any advise. I want to give him a better life. In good indirect bright light.
My red maranta prayer plant is producing its first bloomsđ„č I bought it a few weeks ago and itâs been living under my grow light and today when I was watering I noticed this precious little flower. I have a lemon lime thatâs almost 2 years old and itâs never bloomed, so Iâm so so excited this new one is! đž
Recently my lemon lime shot out a real skinny shoot that I was told was going to be flowers. It HAS since flowered cute little tiny flowers and my question is....is that it? Or will that "stalk" produce more flowers or leaves or should I eventually cut it off?
Stromanthe is a new variety for me, but I guess it's related to the other prayer plants? This one was on sale at HD and I had to bring it home. I am bad and never wait to get a look at the roots. These looked great! I actually ended up dividing into two plants. Fingers crossed it survives the shock.
My lemon lime is growing SO well, putting out so many new leaves but recently shot this out. It's really long and doesn't look like the rest of the new leaves, is it going to be a leaf but just on a longer stem? This is my first prayer plant so just unsure of what it does
Hello lovely plant people! đ± Wondering if I can get some advice here! I have this wonderful prayer plant and she is absolutely thriving! Thatâs said, as she keeps growing, Iâm wondering if now would be the time to size up in a pot? I just keep looking at her and she is overflowing with leaves and I guess I donât wanna upsize if I do not have to and Iâm not sure when would be the right time to do so! Any idea of whatâs going on with my Silver Band Maranta? đ„ș Shes hanging right in front of an East facing window that gets pretty good light throughout the day, but itâs more so just light coming through the trees outside of the window. Does she maybe need less light? I think maybe the pot sheâs in doesnât have enough drainage, so Iâve been considering repotting her & making sure thereâs no root rot. Also, I currently use bottled water to water my plants, not sure if this could be an issue.. Any & all advice is greatly appreciated!
I have two prayer plants - one looks like itâs thriving while the one I took down from the hanger is giving me some bad signs of sickness. They have been getting same amount of water and placed is similar location in the living room. The leaves are soft and very loose, some wrinkly. What could it be? Is the pot too small and because of no drainage?
What is this flower growing in my peacock plant?
Recently my calathea white fusion threw out a new leaf, and it looks like this⊠does anyone know why? Itâs so different from the other leafs.
Am I doing something wrong or is this something that happens with prayer plants? That's the second and third leaf I've had grow in that has split like that on the bottom. Not humid enough?

I'm new to plants, but my prayer plant is hands down my favorite so far. I got her dry as a bone a couple weeks ago for 50% off at a local plant store. Since she's been home I've gotten several new leaves and a flower!
Wanted to show her off :) getting a rattlesnake Calathea Monday đ„č Soil I used peat moss with perlite and some orchid bark in there. Has been thriving since then :) I did make the mistake of using tap water hence the browning you see. Iâve been using distilled since then!!
Hi! I was just wondering if anyone could let me know if itâs okay to leave my prayer plant outside more or should it stay indoors? Iâm scared of killing it so any advice is great!!
Does anyone know what could be causing the edges of my prayer plant to be getting wavy? Online it was saying it could be under watering but I thought I was over watering. I think Iâm getting it down better but the edges are still looking kinda weird.

Hello! I recently purchased a striped calathea because of the beautiful pink present on the leaves, however, after about having it for a little over 2 weeks now Iâve noticed these white âsacsâ (?) on the top of the soil? I see 2 of them. In addition, (as you can see in the photo) some mushrooms have popped up in the soil. This is my first time caring for this plant, so just looking for some direction PLEASE! I loved the way itâs truly a living plant and moves throughout the day and the coloring is beautiful. Thank you!đȘŽđ€ČđŒđ

I have a lemon lime plant that is falling over and super droopy. Iâm wondering if I need to repot it or maybe propagate a leaf or two since maybe itâs just too heavy to support itself? Any advice is appreciated!!
