Has anyone had their prayer plant creep/crawl?? I’ve had mine a couple years and a few months ago she really started leaning out of her pot. I noticed a tendril/root (???) so I set a new pot under her leaves. She is growing more of these tendrils/roots but none are holding her down to the pot. I still have her main stem in the other pot. Do I cut her old stem and vacate her from her old pot altogether? Is she destined to just be a diva and have two pots? I know she’s happy because she has been flowering every day for a few weeks now.

    The tendrils are called aerial roots on plants typically. They go looking to latch on to something. Have you looked to see if perhaps she’s root bound after 2 years? Sometimes flowering can also be caused by stress, withholding water (root bound) etc. I certainly don’t see a bunch of yellow or wilting or anything but it’s worth looking if you haven’t. I would not cut off the whole plant from the original pot. It could be as simple as sizing up an inch or two. I am on a journey with mine after five years because the soil is just spent of any value. So I put fresh dirt, fertilizer, chopped and replaced fresh propagations, then I broke a bunch of stems doing that. Now it’s flowering like crazy because of all the trauma. 🤣

    Thank you for the input! I repotted her today and her roots really weren’t too bad, but we shall see. I guess for now she is just a two pot diva??
