White fusion repotting help please. My calathea needs repotting and has been in this pot for over a year, maybe two years. The new growth is pushing up at the pot edge and is no longer growing in the center of the pot. What type of potting soil do you recommend and should I divide the plant? Anyone use charcoal at bottom of the pot? It’s so sensitive, I’m afraid to do anything to it. BTW, the granular stuff in the middle of the pot is the media the “good bugs” (predatory spider mites) came in. The good bugs are battling the bad bugs (two-spotted spider mites). I tried neem oil and alcohol-insecticide soap mix and the calathea did not like that.
