Hi Can anyone help me understand what these pests are? They are just on two leaves.

    These look like spider mites. My calathea also had these. I sprayed weekly for about 4 weeks on the tops and undersides of the leaves using a spray with water (about 1.5L), 1 tbsp of liquid castille soap (peppermint Dr Bronners) and 1 tbsp of neem oil. I then monitored and sprayed if there were any signs of those annoying bugs returning. It’s been a few months now and my calathea is pest-free

    Dust your plants regularly to help keep pests like this at bay. I take two slightly damp paper towels in each hand and make a nice refreshing sandwich over each leaf and gentle wipe any possible critters and dust away. Helps with light absorption and pests!

    Predatory spider mites have helped me control my two spot spider mite issues on my Calathea. Keeping your humidity high also helps keep the bad mites away too

    Spider mites. I've only had them on one plant and it was a calathea. All I did was take a wet paper towel with Dawn dish soap and while each leaf down carefully. I didn't this every other day for three days and never saw them again
