Does anyone have a spot they order shelving from? I realized after buying the cabinet that I want to convert, that since it's not a TikTok popular ikea one, acrylic shelves may be hard to come by. ....... and now I'm trying to talk myself out if an $2,400 Xtool purchase!! 😆 🤣 😂
what plants do you like to put in a cabinet with grow lights and a humidifier? i’m waiting on everything to come in this weekend to fully set it up. i plan on putting some of my baby props and cuttings in there but what other plants would thrive? i plan on having the lights on an 8 hr timer❤️🪴 it’s my first time using grow lights and a controlled space so i’d love any tips 🫶🏼
Finally invested in a milsbo cabinet for a greenhouse and i absolutely love it. Still have a few tweak and moving things around but i can’t stop popping in to look at it 😊
I started this cabinet and it quickly got out of hand. With new FT job and becoming a student, I haven’t paid it the attention it deserves. However, this weekend I’m installing new fixtures, lights, shelves, etc. Will post the rehab cabinet once it is camera ready!

About a year later and I thought I’d make a few observations. They have been wonderful! Humidity is a bit of an issue but one easily solved by removing some of the weatherstripping. I think I would like bigger fans (nothing too big) or maybe fans on every shelf for more air movement. Im only just realizing I can’t put just anything in there and expect it to thrive. So some plants have found their way to other spots in the house. I’m getting 90%+ humidity on the day if I water most of the plants in there. Other than that I am still thrilled with them and have had several orchids bloom and 5or 6 Hoyas also. I have a couple of keikis growing in the orchid section and it’s great for props. 😀
Hi guys, I am ordering this soon and wondering what else I will need? I’ve never had a greenhouse before but it be housing alocasias and calatheas (our house gets REALLYYY dry in the winter due to a wood stove)
Here in northern NJ. I have to Milsbo greenhouse Cabinets and I love them.
Any thoughts about what indoor greenhouses are best? I want to make sure to get one that will be a long lasting home for my plants, so any advice on materials (wood vs metal frames, etc.), special/necessary features, and/or brands would be great ◡̈ thank you!
Hello! Recently joined🪴☺️ I’m in NJ and was hoping to hear from anyone that uses an outdoor greenhouse for their potted plants for winter? I’m thinking it might be easier to store what I have now being kept outdoors, a walk in greenhouse might be helpful. I do see a cabinet greenhouse in my future after finding this group..🥰 I would love to hear about a few options. Thanks!

Happy Mother’s Day to me!! Found a used one on marketplace and hubby got it for me and I woke up to it all cleaned up and up the stairs in the spot i wanted it! Not to get some alocasias and caladiums! Also, it was such a good deal—$275 for everything which is what the cabinet by itself costs new. Included, the lights, fan, electric temp gauge, wire shelving inserts, plastic suction cup shelves for more plant spots, holes drilled and covered for cords, weather stripping—the works! So pleased!
After the long wait , finally invested on the ikea milsbo cabinet 🫀 Using it for high humidity babies & for propagation experiments! One moved, one more to go, what a work out.. excited to install the lights 🪴💡💧 Any advice for humidifier systems that have timers?
Hiii, im a newer plant dad, i started with succulents and slowly learned more and more about plants, I now have several and just purchased and mini greenhouse for my house plants, any advice on how to protect these plants while thriving in the greenhouse house will be helpful, right now I have a towel over the front of the greenhouse to provide shade, and the house itself is also placed in a small corner to provide some shade but still allow the warmth of the sun in… any advice will be useful since im new to greenhouses

My Baggebo greenhouse so far, using it mainly for props and rehab plants. Any ideas on how to regulate the humidity without having to open the cabinet? just got a new leaf unfurled on my red emerald philo 😍
Hey all! New here to this app and to the plant community. The ex got me into growing some plants and now I want to learn more. I saw the idea for an indoor greenhouse so I bought a milsbo cabinet. I have only assembled it and put what plants I have in/on it. I also bought a watering system but not sure how to employ it… I travel alot for my jobs(travel paramedic/army reserves medic). But I want to add more plants to it. What else do I need to do to the cabinet? What plants should I add? What of the plants do I have that I should move? Is it too much/too little light? Thanks!!!!
Went shopping today for some tiny tropicals to fill up the empty space in my Akerbar greenhouse! Here’s a tip— go to Goodwill and look for votives for those little nursery pots. They work perfectly and cost ~$1 each.
