Hi everyone! I really want to turn my home into a beautiful little jungle but as you can see I have these two on my hands. What are some of the safest plants to get for cats and how do I keep them from destroying them? All suggestions will be greatly appreciated šš½

How do you deter your cats from eating your plants? I really want to move some plants into my actual house (theyāre in a closed off sunroom) but I just know my cats would chomp on them. (I would only bring in non toxic ones just to be safe)

Any suggestions on how to prevent my cats from chewing on the leaves? Of course I have all safe plants in the areas they access, but I would love to prevent my calathea orbifolia from becoming completely demolished if I can help it. Iāve seen stuff on Google about spritzing with citrus or vinegar, using chili powder, etc but wanted some insight on if these are good ideas or if Iāll just be wasting my time or even harming the plant. Thank you š

So I want to get a little pothos or a Chinese money plant but theyāre both toxic to pets and my cat lives with me in a dorm with 3 roommates. Heās been pretty good about not eating my plants but Iām worried these are more leafy and he might bite them. Is it safe to have them and keep them out of reach from him or should I just get something else? Heās ten and pretty mellow so he really usually doesnāt get hyper and chomp on em Iām just a bit worried since these are toxic.

Hi friends! I want to get into taking care of plants and having some greenery in my space. I have 3 cats and while I know some plants are toxic to cats, Iām unsure of which onesā¦if anyone could give some tips and names of plants to avoid bringing in the home, that would be great:)

Hoping for some recommendations from this group. :)
We have three dogs, two of which are big dogs and very sloppy drinkers. Despite having their water bowl on a tray on a rug, they still dribble everywhere.
Iām considering making a āwater bowl planterā similar to the pics Iāve added here. Iām hopeful their curiosity about the plants will cause them to linger long enough to dribble there. :P
Many of the examples Iāve found seem to use succulents but Iād like a leafier mix of pet safe plants, ideally mixing up heights, colors, and textures.
Which are your favorites?
