Hello! I moved into an apartment in Florida from Seattle about a year ago. I had to rehome all of my plants in Seattle. I decided that I was going to buy some plants at the start of May. I now have 28 plants!! OMG, what have I done? I have two cats that like to eat plants. You name it, and they will eat it— even cacti! Truth. They bit off all the tips on my zebra plant. In Seattle, I resorted to cages around the plants. I want to show off my plants (without cages) and protect cats. I have macrame hangars, and I thought about floating shelves. Any suggestions to keep plants out of the way? I appreciate your thoughts! I gave them their plant cat grass and tried lemon juice and hot pepper. I have the pothos on the refrigerator; they made it up there. They love toxic plants. Any help, suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Growing empress of India flowers. My queen kitty Tootsie has been curious of them. She hasn’t tried to dig or eat them but has been checking on them just as much as I have. I’m curious as how big they are going to get.

Hello I have 2 lovely kitties and I have spider plants one in my living room and my friend has one in his room my male cat leaves my plants alone but his sister loves to hallucinate off the spider plants. What can I do to stop her. Her health comes first so if I have to gift mine away I will but I’d like to try and stop her first.

I recently bought my first indoor plant, a prayer plant (I have other outdoor plants). Unfortunately, my lil friend here enjoys puncturing the leaves at every moment and has zero control over himself (looking into solutions to meet his insatiable need for salad). He didn’t ingest much and it’s my understanding they are nontoxic, but what do I do about my currently-Swiss-cheesed prayer plant leaves? There are lots of fairly small holes and tears. Do I cut them off or leave it alone? I have it removed from cat access in a part-sun window sill and it is watered. It still has leaves that are intact. Thanks for any help!!

Hello! My cat ate all the leaves off of my begonia ferox while I was sleeping 😥 does anyone know if they can still grow healthy leaves after being chomped? And what I should do to nurse her back to health? Thanks in advance!

My 5 month old kitten enjoys jumping up to “grab” one of the leaves of my cast iron plant. Any advice on how to discourage this? She has shredded one leaf already.

Does anyone have any tips on how to keep cats away from toxic plants, without just keeping the plants away from the cats? My cats are huge climbers, there is almost nowhere that I could put them where they would be out of reach, aside from hanging which I would like to avoid. This was my first time buying plants and I didn't even think to check if they were safe until I got home😣

I just bought some daffodils, andI was excited, until I learned they were pet toxic. I have three cats and a dog. I really want to own these, but I’m kind of worried. Does anyone have any opinions on what I should do? Or advice so that I can keep it? Anything would be helpful 😊

Proud of my cat plant cage invention 🤣 I used a storage end table and turned it upside down. I may secure the top to the bottom, but so far, after the first unsuccessful attempt, he has accepted that this is my plant and moved on!
