My biggest (and usually only) problem child is a China doll I have grown from a 1/2โ tall seedling. It got super leggy last year while I struggled to find a place with enough light but not too much heat. I chopped the top to force lower growth as my ultimate goal is to turn it into a bonsai plant. That said, I canโt tell if what I am seeing on its trunk is regular corking or scale. Does anyone have experience with this specific type of plant who can give me some guidance?
She did not eat this! Iโm in love with this Thanksgiving Cactus (Thor Sophia) and I love it even more for blooming in April when I just got the cutting in December!!

Spider or Spider mites? Noticed webbing on my pineapple guava tree. I gave the tree a look over and didnโt see any pests. Is this a spider web or the beginning of spider mites ๐ญ

My soul dog, River, passed away a month ago, and I finally got this Sansevieria/Snake Plant โWhitneyโ to help memorialize her. I wanted a plant that reminded me of her- something strong, stoic, resilient, beautiful, and striking. I love how they represent protection as well; my sweet girl definitely always protected me. It lives right next to her urn and shadowbox in my bedroom window where it should be very happy. ๐พ๐

Hi everyone ๐. Iโm brand new to this app. I have a very naughty 6 year old black cat. He is a monster for trying to eat/bite my plants. He will even try go for a cactus (ouch) so for the last few years, Iโve resorted to having them all in the kitchen which he is not allowed in. I have 40 ish plants and I am just running out of room for them all. Are there any tips for getting him to leave them alone and what helped you if you experienced this issue. Obviously I wouldnโt let him near any toxic plants regardless just in case. Iโll post with a funny photo of my spider plant then vs now the last time he got hold of it. As youโll see, it recovered beautifully. Thank you. โบ๏ธ

I was wondering if there is any plants I could put in my lizard cage, that is not poisonous. My lizard is a Fancy Leopard Gecko, and it is typically 75-85 degrees fahrenheit in her cage. Thanks in advance!

Hiya! I am looking for ideas on how to display plants without my cat either eating them or knocking them over? I have a very mischievous cat and now a good handful of plants. Any advice is welcome, thank you in advance :)
Hi plant friends! Iโm hoping someone here might be able to help me figure out whatโs going on with my plant. Iโve been dealing with this issue since last year. I was originally told they were aphids, so Iโve tried several things to get rid of them โ Neem oil, releasing lacewings, and even ladybugs โ but nothing seems to work. They tend to gather around the buds of the flowers, and Iโm starting to wonder if those little clusters are eggs. No matter what I try, they keep coming back. Does anyone know what these might be or how to actually get rid of them? Iโd really appreciate any advice!
