Hey Anthuriumites! Could anybody tell me more about whatâs happening here? Iâve had this bb for almost a year and only recently have I ever seen it put out flowers like this with an extra petal From what Iâve found itâs not a bad sign or anything like that so Iâm just curious about what causes this to happen, that sort of thing. Thanks đ€ In the picture, the middle flower just has one petal and the other two on the right have like 1.5 flowers haha

IT CAMEEE unfortunately no ID tag but me and a friend were kinda thinking Dark Phoenix X Forgetii or Goliath X forgetii, itâs definitely forgetii something so comment your opinion below đ€.

I just got my first anthurium, the flamingo (red). I eould like to move it to grow in leca or water. Can anybody share their experience?

I am a complete newbie to anthurium and would love some advice from you guys. I just bought a pedatoradiatum (fingers) and clarinervium. What I canât wrap my head around is what substrate to use for the pedatoradiatum. From the little research I have done, they grow on limestone in Mexico and donât really like soil. So my initial thought was to use pon, but Iâve read that they donât like their feet wet so having it in a self watering pot also sounds like it could be a bad idea. I also considered maybe buying Mollyâs aroid mix, specifically for my anthuriums. Iâve also heard tree fern fiber is beneficial for anthurium, so I would consider getting that and mixing some of it with my super chunky mix. For the clarinervium, Iâm not as concerned with the substrate choice. Iâm thinking it would do well in a super chunky mix like Mollyâs aroid mix. But does anyone have experience with theirs in pon? Also, I have seen a lot of people top their pots with sphagnum moss, but they donât really explain why. Help me understand lol Overall though, if anyone has advice on substrates or any other advice on anthurium, I would greatly appreciate it!! *these photos are NOT mine, just using them as examples

Everything has taken nicely to the new cabinet set up!! My mag hybrid is brimming to push out a leaf, just noticed my baby lux is pushing out its 2nd leaf too and my pride and joy the Ace of spades df x pap has pushed out its 4th leaf!! Still waiting on my fans and I need to still get a thing to lift the humidifier up a bit as itâs not really hitting the top left corner, but the humidity levels average around 80% - 90% which is better when it was reaching 99% constantly because of the glass shelves. I plan on installing a wire rack at the top so I can use zipties instead of the double sided tape. And oh yeah my surprise anthurium from Karteldaun was supposed to come this morning but UPS hasnât picked up the package and itâs being delayedâŠ. So yeah pray for it đ„Čđđ»

The velvet Verde x pap seeds are sprouting!! And my A. RA17 x RA6 pap is putting out its first leaf after the near death experience đ€

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem with my antherium? The picture of the red flower I assume is normal decomposition of a flower as it is ageing??? The picture of the big leaf with the three dark marks that look like scrapes, I have no idea what the problem is. Also, another leaf has a funny, dark round mark on it?? And the remaining leaf has a brown tip which Iâm wondering if it is from being too dry?? Any help would be sincerely appre-ciated since I am just learning the ropes with this antherium which is my first. Thanks ahead of time for any com- ments.

Just got this from the store. Looked fine under their lighting. Got it home to find this. I have another anthurium and it doesnât look like this. Anyone know what these dots are? Itâs not on all the foliage but a lot of it. Itâs also on the newest leaf

Why did someone mention that you shouldnât mist an Anthurium or it might get fungus?

I just joined this group as I have purchased a beautiful Antherium. I have grown many plants and have many currently, so I am not a novice when it comes to growing plants, However, I know nothing about Antheriums and have been reading your posts after I joined your group. Do I need to be fertilizing it with regular green leaf fertilizer or bloom fertilizer? Also, my Antherium is about 15 feet from a sliding glass door from which afternoon sun can come in and touch on the plant for a short while; is that too much sun? Thanks for your help.

Hey! I got gifted another Anthurium however I have the same problem as my other one. A couple of my leaves look like this and Iâm not sure why itâs happening, any suggestions?? Will it benefit from a grow light?? (Itâs currently winter in the Uk and I donât get much light in my house, but the plant is located by a south facing window)

My anthurium had seen some tough days, but itâs been healthy and green for months now. Any suggestions on things I can do to encourage her to bloom or do I have to just wait it out for a different season? Thank you
