Seeking help for a Bulbophyllum falcatum! The bulb on the left started turning yellow and dropping leaves, and I'm worried the rest of the plant will go the same way. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Looks like I may have puzzled out the light issue for this cattleya! Iâll update when she blooms. If anyone else is struggling with related hybrids- it was the difference of west vs east exposure, and an extra hour or two of indirect exposure. đ€·đ»ââïž

Usually after the flowers drop I cut the stems. But this one got a bud just as the last flower was wilting so I left it. It has since had 2 more blooms, 2 buds, and a new branch! ! đ

Went to the Chicago Botanic Gardens today for their orchid show, India Blooms. Iâll have to add more photos to the comments. It was a stunning display this year. If you are anywhere near the Midwest, itâs worth a trip.

Love it when the flowers start to open. The one on the right for the first time since Iâve had her has multiple stems coming from one flower stem. Excited to see her fully flower

About to make a garlic bath for my orchids! I donât boil them. I take hot boiling water and pour it over the garlic (skin and all). I let it cool off for about 30-40 mins, strain and let my orchids sit and soak in the water for about 20 mins each. đ

Hi all. I went to bed last night excited because my first phrag was about to have a second flower but when I looked this morning, the first flower was on the floor. It's a healthy looking flower. I hate to think that the new flower assassinated the old one but maybe this is just how phrags do?

Hello! I have had this jumellea confusa for the past 2 years and it is not doing well right now. For the past 2 months itâs been getting yellowing/brown leaves that eventually just come right off when I touch them. Its health has never really thrived (no flowering or big amounts of growth) since I got it but it hasnât ever gone downhill like this. It was seeming underwatered for a while and now Iâm concerned itâs overwatered? I have it in the spot with the most light in the house (with no direct sun). Iâm not sure how to help it right now. If anyone has ANY info on how to take for this type of orchid, it would be very helpful. Thank you!

New blooms âŒïž Iâm so excited to share that after one year, my orchid has flowers again. I had posted about it in this group, asking for advice on how to revive my flowerless orchid that had dead roots. This group has been amazing, gave me tips on how to bring her back. Seeing the Before and After pictures gives me so much joy! đ€©

Hi all. I have a dendrobium hawaiian royal thatâs been losing leaves to what I assume from reading is phyllosticta. Iâve cut off leaves with any spots and have been spraying and soaking with physan 20. Based on these pics, does it look like Iâm taking the right actions for the right pathogen? TIA!

I recently rescued this orchid from root rot, trimming off the bad roots and repotting it into new potting mix (but the same size pot, since so many of the roots needed cutting) But now the leaves are yellowing and falling offâŠdid I do something wrong? Should I have used more bark than spagnum for repotting? I lifted off the top layer and the roots themselves look fine, so Iâm wondering if maybe I repotted it too tightlyâŠthanks for any help!
