My husband bought me this orchid about 6 months ago. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, but not sure what I need to do. Appreciate some advice.

    Soak it in water for 20 to 30 minutes. I think it is dehydrated

    I agree with Leaf. I’d also fertilize it! I don’t fertilize my orchids that much, but when I do I use the miracle-gro orchid plant food spikes

    The pot doesn’t look like it has any airflow holes on the side. Consider carefully moving to an orchid pot to allow the roots to breathe.

    I would add some sphagnum moss to the orchid mix (about 20-30%), mine used to get really wrinkly and dehydrated and the moss helps hold onto a bit more water

    Yes needs to be soaked but give it some banana water Boil banana skin for a minute then let it sit overnight. Use this to water your orchid. I do mine every once in a while. They love it.

      Also looking at that pictures again, I would pull it out of that medium check all the roots cut off the bad roots and replaced it back into more orchid bark. Then give it a good soak.

    Thank you. I took it out of the ceramic pot and poked a few holes in the clear plastic pot. I will cut off the bad roots and replace with fresh Orchid bark.
