HELP!!! I tried the Dr. planta and it said it couldn’t help but what’s wrong with my orchids??? I was reading that the leather look is from dehydration but from my understanding my roots look pretty hydrated. I don’t want to over water it and kill my roots. Is that even possible?? It’s in a pot with no medium, I was thinking about putting it in a mason jar with water maybe, would that help?

Ok y’all. Here we go again. I was not planning on getting another orchid any time soon, but I was gifted this big ol’ papa Smurf for my birthday! Wish us luck on this journey (again). He’s potted in straight moss, so I’m just going to water less frequently and see how it goes…. Not ready for another repotting disaster.

Not the standard orchid species but this Jewel Orchid is absolutely stunning, pictures cannot do it justice.

Dendrobium “Spring Snow”
It’s just lovely with large white flowers, a delicate fragrance and an interesting form.
And it seems predisposed to produce keikis. Hooray for bonus plants!

Got a new flower spike coming in on one of my orchids!! Decided to try switching the other over to hydro since the aerial roots were out of control. Here’s hoping it takes to the transfer ok! 🤞

My orchid went downhill after I repotted to a larger pot (roots were bound)! But I just noticed these small lil bugs on it. It’s planted in sphagnum moss. If anyone knows, please help!

Your vibes are strong here in the Orchid Oasis. Not only is that first growth definitely a coming flower spike, but I think I spy a second one! Do I dare to get my hopes up that my first blooming on my long-awaited mini mark may have TWO flower spikes?!? 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

My first Cattleya bloom 😀 really surprised just how much she loves the heat outside atm.

Help, I never have any luck with orchids. They all get super wilty and sometimes turn yellow. I’ve repotted, cleaned up the roots, no success. I water about every 10 days. I fertilize every other time or so. They’re in a fairly bright spot (no direct sun).

Welp. I’ve done it. I’ve killed her.

Cross your fingers for me… I am hoping this is the first flower spike ever on my phalaenopsis mini mark! It may very well be a new root, but send it some good vibes. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I hope my blooms last a while. These are my first orchids and they seem to like their home as I’ve been getting new buds too.

We have a Moth Orchid at my office (a library) that has not bloomed in the longest time. Any advice to help it bloom?
