Blue orchids are just white ones that were treated with water and blue food coloring.

Omg photoshopped plant scams are one of my huge secret pet peeves 😅 It’s always seed sales because by the time a different plant grows or you realize the seeds won’t germinate, they can claim it’s too late for a refund. I don’t even think orchids grow from seeds? But that’s also part of the scam, they sell colors that don’t exist on plants that sometimes don’t even grow well (or at all) from seeds. The most recent one I’ve seen was for pink monstera seeds….

I agree with everyone above - just a scam to lighten the purse. Right now, blue Phalanopsis don’t exist unless dyed. Just as an FYI orchids do produce seed. That’s how all these lovely hybrids are developed. I haven’t done it myself but as I understand it it takes very particular conditions for success.

Oh wow, hybridizing orchids must take a miracle practically lol. I’ll admit I don’t know that much about orchids but I’m picturing how small the vanilla seeds are in the pod 😂 I know even growing vanilla bean takes just the right conditions

Just look at the reviews, they always tell you.

This one didn’t have any reviews :( although after I posted I saw one that said it was a bag of dust with no instructions

Dammit. I thought that maybe people could cultivate hybrids like that but the tech and resources aren’t there. Not going to lie a pink monster, I would die of excitement. It’s so rude
