Well now i feel dumb, this plant was gifted to my boss and I've been trying to keep it alive I looked at the bottom after MONTHS and it was barely noticeable but I noticed a bit of bubbling when I tilted the glass. I pulled the plant up and sure enough.. like no wonder it's struggling so much

1 likeAre you going to attempt to save? I know the roots look fairly lost for sure… but if you have even a single firm one, you can save it and cross your fingers for new ones to grow. The leaves are showing signs of dehydration, but they are no way complete lost causes.
1 likeI'm trying to save it but don't even know how to start I might have to get a bigger pot but then again most of its roots look done for so might be fine

if it gives you any hope, this is an orchid i got from trader joes and waited too long to repot, so all the roots ended up rotting. i cut them all off, and have been keeping it out of a pot, but in a high humidity area. when the roots get long enough, ill pot it back up again and do my best to not kill it lol. best of luck, you got this!!

1 likePlease,I repotted it today after letting it dry out and cut off a lot of dried rotten roots when should I water it and can I use diluted dish soap rather than hydrogen peroxide on a spray bottle
