Are the surrounding areas firm? As long as it is not mushy or spreading, the orchid should be fine, though the physical damage to the leaves will be permanent

If this is damage from something like cold water sitting on the leaves, then yes, the orchid will be fine. These leaves will never ‘heal’ but new ones should grow out beautiful and glossy and fine. However- if this is pest damage, say, from spider mites (which looks similar) you have a bigger problem on your hands. You’ll need to really take a close look at the whole plant to determine if you have any ongoing pest issue here. Take a soft paper towel or cotton disc and gently wipe the underside of the leaves. If you see red or sort of rust colored dots or smudges, you have red spider mites. Crossing my fingers for you- hoping for the cold water damage scenario- but you should absolutely check, since pests spread to other plants and will in time kill your orchid. Please keep us posted with updates, and good luck!
