Hello! I have had this jumellea confusa for the past 2 years and it is not doing well right now. For the past 2 months it’s been getting yellowing/brown leaves that eventually just come right off when I touch them. Its health has never really thrived (no flowering or big amounts of growth) since I got it but it hasn’t ever gone downhill like this. It was seeming underwatered for a while and now I’m concerned it’s overwatered? I have it in the spot with the most light in the house (with no direct sun). I’m not sure how to help it right now. If anyone has ANY info on how to take for this type of orchid, it would be very helpful. Thank you!

    FYI: the tiny white specks you might see are leftover Swirskii mites I released to help with some pest problems I had on some of my plants.

    I have no experience with this one so take everything I say with a big grain of salt. It looks like it’s died at the base? I would check out the roots in the pot to see if anything is alive. If not, prune away dead parts so that you can get the two air roots in the pot. I would use similar media (with maybe small tweaks according to your care style). One that keiki has two inches of roots and leaves, I would remove from the mother plant and pot up, that way you have a second plant to fall back on in case things continue to go south. I would also comb the web for info on this one. Check out AOS. Good luck! And again, I am speaking from absolutely no experience with this one.
