Good afternoon everyone I was looking at my Cattleya. Is this going to be a flower or a baby. I'm new to this kind of Orchid.

That'll be a new pseudobulb. The flowers form at the top of pseudobulbs once they reach a decent size. The flower sheath looks similar to a leaf at first. Different types of cattleya vary on when they flower; some will make a sheath and then bloom right after, others will make a sheath, do a rest/root development period, and then bloom. So even if the sheath looks dead and doesn't do anything for a long time, don't remove it.

Thank you very much. Know I'm excited to see her bloom.

Also just a tip for cattleya care: they're finicky about their roots and will most likely drop all or most of them any time you repot. Because of that, you should learn your plant's growth cycle and only repot when new roots are very short and just starting to grow in. (Yours can stay in it's current pot for a long time, this is just so you'll know about that quirk for later)
