Advice wanted! A few weeks ago I accidentally left water sitting in the outer pot for a couple of days. I let the plant dry out for a couple weeks or so before checking the roots and watering again. Since then I’ve noticed leaves yellowing at the base of one stalk—today a second stalk. Also, it gets about 8-10 hrs directly under a grow light with my other orchids. Any suggestions?
I don’t have a ton of experience with Dendrobiums, but don’t the Nobile versions lose their leaves seasonally? That was my understanding.

I think what your seeing is thr results from that over water. If it's still super damp, make sure it's out of the cache pot so it can dry off
1 like It was when I first noticed the sitting water a few weeks ago but not recently. I’ll keep an eye on the roots to your point.

It looks like this is occurring in the oldest canes. If that is the case, I wouldn’t be overly concerned. They will shed their leaves eventually. If it’s happening on the newest canes, take a look at the roots.
1 like Yes, the 2 canes with yellowing leaves were the oldest ones. I’ll keep an eye on the roots though.
