My orchard is looking really sad and it has lost some leaves how do you get it back to looking healthy?

Number one: please get that ice off your plant immediately. Orchids are generally tropical plants- ice may be fine for a time, but eventually can cause real damage to roots. Were the leaves that you lost lower leaves? What did they look like as you were losing them?

I will add my voice to the no ice chorus.

0 likesAs long as you don’t see any rotting or discoloration on the stem and you don’t continue to lose leaves, it’s ok for a phalaenopsis to lose a lower leaf or two. You should water the medium with room temp water whenever it goes completely dry and the roots go from green to silvery. Depending on what your orchid is potted in, and the level of humidity in your environment, that could vary from every 3 days to every 10 days. See my other comments below about repotting when the flowers drop. Because this looks like it’s in its original pot and medium, you’re going to want to repot and take a look at the roots since you’re experiencing dehydration.
0 likesYour leaves are showing signs of dehydration, and your flowers are starting to wilt- could be from said dehydration, could be just their time to fall. Have they been in bloom for a few weeks already?
3 likesIt looks like it’s still in its original pot, which means when your flowers fall, it’ll be a good time for a repot. That medium is probably very compacted and as old as the orchid. It will be a good chance to asses the health of your roots and determine if the dehydration is caused by infrequent watering or if you have root rot and is struggling to take in water.
3 likesDry furnace air can cause bud and flower drop too.
