My lithop keeps drying up a day after watering. I do not know if I should water it everytime it dries up because I am worried it will get root rot and I am unsure if I should let it dry up. I am so confusion😢

My lithop is blooming so quickly! It’s amazing, yesterday it had suddenly appeared looking like a pumpkin seed had been stuck inside of it and now it’s popping out :3

Hi all!! My Lithops are THRIVING and are flowering. Can anyone tell me what to do after they flower? Do I need to remove the flower or just let it do it’s thing?

I got these lithops awhile ago. I had 20 at first but half of them died. It’s been awhile now and none of them have died, but they are looking a little sad. Do they look sick? Should I repot them?

The current landscape of Lithops over here in North Utah. Per a previous post, I also want to show the shallow pot versus the rest. The little red one throws me off, a lot, because it changes shape/state (wrinkles) more often than the rest. The green pot however excelled during the entire year without any extra attention. Bad Brainz is still too young to flower, but all five have looked immaculate all year. I’m not making any claims other than what I’ve experienced. As much as I’m selling that deep, green pot, it’s still a dumb glazed ceramic “Edible Arrangements” (holes drilled in the bottom). I do believe there is a lot of fine sand and aquarium rocks mixed in the soil, which should be wrong.

I think my lithops is about to flower…right?? I got her back in spring, so I’m relatively new at caring for this type of plant. Seems like she’s happy though!

i have six little lithops, three of which i'm concerned about because they don't appear healthy (the three on the right). the fourth one is wrinkly and the fifth and sixth haven't made any visible progress since i got them (one month ago). does anyone have any suggestions?

I think that my plants are going to die of root rot soon. Do they look sick to you and do you have any suggestions about what to do if it does have root rot.

I bought a lithops last year with a dead root ball. After a year of trying to see if it’ll grow new roots I have decided to try and cut the dead root ball all the way to the base and water it in soil. Though I’m also wondering if it would be worth doing water therapy. Anyone have any tricks? Thank you! I’m not sure the soil will retain the moisture it needs to grow roots. They also haven’t split since I got it last august. Thanks!

Hi guys I adopted a lil group today to go with my big lonely lithops. Well I was replanting them because the farmers market had totally drowned their soil today and I had an awkward feeling that was not in their best interest. During repotting I realized my container is too shallow and my lithops are really sticking out of the soil. Is that wrong? I never see any others potted like that.

Happy Saturday 😀 this is my first stone. I’ve had it for a couple of months not sure if it needs to be re-potted?

This is my newest plant addition. Looks taller than most pictures in the group. Not sure if that’s good or bad. I hope I’m able to keep it happy!
