Anything I can do to help my plan absorb water better? I have a Kalanchoe/Flaming Katy that I propagated about 8 months ago, doing quite well! In the last several weeks, the soil has an irregular way of absorbing water. The water first sits on top of the soil, as if waiting to find a way to sneak through some imagined barrier. Once it does, I have to rotate the pot around to redistribute water in an attempt to get it to absorb. Be advised, I KNOW I am not overwatering. I’m in WI, my plants have southwestern sun, and sit in a windowsill. Anything I can do to help my plan absorb water better?
