Hey there! I’m trying to figure out how to help my snowball hydrangeas. We planted them about two months ago and they have not looked good since, unfortunately with our house sits they get morning shade and afternoon sun I’m not sure if I should prune back the flowers or not. I’ve seen mixed opinions with some people saying leave the flowers to protect them in winter, but others saying prune the flowers so they can produce more. I’m at a loss and unsure what to do to have healthy flowers next season :(

I came home this evening and couldn’t work out where the intense jasminey-camelia-esque perfume was coming from until I saw my dracaena. Wow - the smell is SO INTENSE! It’s just beautiful, permeating through the whole house. I’ve had this baby for about 7 or 8 years, mostly kept indoors and this is the first time it has bloomed. Just wanted to share :)

So we are moving and I don't want to leave my hibiscus plants behind.. I want to dig them up but Google is telling me that it's probably going to die from transplant shock or I have to lop the majority of the plant off and every single flower if the roots are going to have a chance of survive.. is this true☹️🤦😭🌺 I do plan on packing the roots with mycorrhizal fungi and Happy frog soil

Just wanted to make an appreciation post of my Big leaf hydrangea! She just made her first big beautiful bloom of the season and I am just absolutely gobsmacked at the transition from the first picture where it’s just a small little green blossom, to this giant purple and pink flower! 🥰🥰🥰
