Looking for some sort of little hooks to hold my string of pearls and other string plants into soil while they root
 something that won’t rust ?

Hi friends! I have a big beautiful fiddle leaf fig that I need to take a cutting from the top so it doesn’t get too tall and skinny. I did this on one of two branches at the top and the parent plant is fine. But the clipping died quickly. I followed online advice on where to cut but I’m afraid to chop chop without figuring out where I went wrong. Any advice is appreciated!

Does anyone have experience growing cactus from seed? I live in the north of England and sowed my cacti in seed sowing compost about 3 weeks ago, leaving them on a bright windowsill with plenty of drainage. I gave them a large drink then, and another today (3 weeks later) but I’m yet to see any signs of life! Do you think my windowsill is too dark/cold? Should I have used houseplant soil? Should I have watered them more than once every 3 weeks? Should I start again? Thanks guys!!

So we’re on a weekend getaway and just finished dinner. When the owner of the restaurant noticed me admiring their giant Polka Dot Begonia & offered me a cutting
He stated it’s been in family for over 100 years!!!! (I didn’t get a photo of the parent Polka Dot- I was so excited that he offered me a cutting!!!) Thank you for any advice đŸƒđŸ€—đŸ’šđŸȘŽ

I've never had success with aloe pups. This came out of my fan aloe. Is there anyway to put in soil and it survive?

Happy long weekend everyone! Here’s my propagation station. It is on my living room coffee table and I use it as my experiment lab
But I tell my husband it is decoration lol đŸ€Ł EDIT: the small little globe in the bottom left corner is one of those little spheres that I bought on Amazon that contains a shrimp and its own little ecosystem. I’ve had it for over 10 years now as it was my tiny little pet in college and I still have one shrimp in it all these years later!

Hello All, I did not have luck repotting a string of pearls and so I am trying to propagate. Can you please advise if I am doing this correctly? I have several leaves on top of soil and I am misting. (1) A few are showing growth but not all. It appears I pressed several into the soil and some are sitting on top. Those on top are growing - does the depth make a difference. (2) Also, I assume the soil cannot dry out and that may be the issue as well. (3) should I have put the leaves (?) in the center or spread out as I have done. TIA🙏

I could use some advice on a some snake plant cuttings I’m propagating and I’m worried they are starting to rot out. Do I have anything to worry about? Or if it is rot can I just cut that part off and start again? I know they take a long time to root. Any advice would be appreciated 😊

Made the chop to stop rot getting any further up the plants stem now planning on repotting and just looking for any advise as I only usually propagate from indervidual leaves. Should I do water only first for this type of cutting? How far should I pot into soil if I do direct into soil? Backstory: Trying to resuscitate a mature jadeplant for my mum it was healthy at the beginning of this year very full leaves then when she moved house it was deteriorating. She's never used a drainage pot so im pretty sure the soil got water logged post drying out in the house move and started rotting from the root up. Its also had a history of gnats so could have been todo with that also.

Growing three new monstera babies! So proud of them! (Not that I will have any space for them once they get bigger). The process was fun and exciting!

Hey, just remembered I had this propagating. I took this cutting off my mums plant and I think I done something wrong. I watched a tutorial on how to cut and I’ve cut right above a node. Do I need to put more water? Do I need to cut some of the leaves? Did I fail and have to do it again? Please tell me a way I can save this

Should I pot up these 3 Basil babies alone or together? They’ve been happily rooting together in a glass but I don’t want to overcrowd them in a pot.
