Hey there Iām wondering how do you propagate a silver inch plant
I grew this starfruit from seed but itās not looking great. Iām not sure what to do with it. Doesnāt look like the ones in the videos Iāve researched.
Last week an albo I ordered arrived. It suffered from transplant shock. Today I found out it has rotted away. I have since cut it into several babies and they are currently soaking in a 3%hydrogen peroxide + water solution and tomorrow I will transition them to fluval. I do not have a propagation set up and my query is: will bright indirect light be enough? **I have failed multiple times trying to propagate albos is various medium. So now I am going for fluval
My mom sent me home with this basil plant a month or 2 ago and she started with 3 leaves. I guess her neighbor gave it to her! But why enjoy 3 leaves when you can make multiple! Iāve loved having this beautiful plant in my propagation station she had the most beautiful flowers and smells amazing! I canāt wait to cook with her beautiful leaves!! Does she have to be in garden soil or will potting mix work???
Is there anything I can do with this rubber plant leaf? Or not without a node? Iām not familiar with this type of plant lol
My mom cut me this large monstera leaf to propagate but I donāt think she cut it low enough. I told her it needed a node, but I think she thought the aerial root was the node. Iām worried it wonāt propagate. Please someone tell me itās salvageable
First corms ever and they are mystery corms. They are doing well and I am loving the excitement of what they will be. Iām trying to be patient. The packets were from an auction plant site on whatnot. Those I know what they will be and I need to get them planted tonight. š so very excited I love to see new stuff grow!
These have been in water for about 4-6 weeks & they arenāt doing too wellā¦any tips?! Number order as shown in photos uploaded: 1,2,3
Iām heartbroken⦠my friend gifted me a cutting of this pink princess philodendron and it was a beautiful dark green-like on the smaller leaves Iāve had it for about two months now and there are a few things I need help withš It doesnāt seem to be growing any roots really? It doesnāt seem to be thriving like I have seen others do online? Over the last 5 days the main leaf is now dying off & going brown? I need to change the water tomorrow - but any help with the three above?
Good Evening Beautiful People Should I cut or leave the stems hanging? And if I cut can I put in water for roots to plant?
Hello ! Iām very new to plants but I got this plant thatās been given to me thatās been growing in the water how do I properly transfer it over to soil in a pot ? ā”Ģ
I got this from my monstera after I dropped her today and this shook loose. Can I prop this? Should I do water or straight to soil? Everything feels healthy on her just my oopsie. Iām pretty new to propagating so any and all advice is welcome
Iām new to this and was wondering how you would all recommend propagating this mini monstera cutting that my coworker gave me? Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know how I propagate this? Can I stick the cut stem in water? I tried in the past and nothing happened for months and then I gave up!
iām new to the plant parenthood, i was wondering if this monstera is ready to be potted or needs some more time
should i let her sit in water or is she ready to be potted ?
Hi plant friends! I have a glorious rubber tree that was the first of my (now 55 plant strong) collection when it only had 3 leaves! Itās my pride and joy but itās getting too big for the current space (there arenāt really any other places I could put it - although as a last resort I could find somewhere!). Iām wondering what to do for the best. Should I: A: chop and prop (if so, how and how much should I chop?). B: find a new spot (not an easy task as itās now 115 cm/45 in tall) C: find some way to train it so it doesnāt hit the ceiling? Please share your wisdom so I can help my baby! Thank you šŖ“
My friends lobster claw has lost its centre flower. It has developed the baby offshoots. When do you know the offshoot is mature enough to propagate? How would you propagate? TIA
Interesting propagation results from two different methods. Pic 1 cutting was in leca. Pic 2 cutting was in water with an aquarium bubbler running. Cuttings are from the same Scind Silver Splash vine and started at the same time.
My rescued Imperial Red, Rome, had severe root and stem rot which required him to basically regrow from scratch (save one healthy leaf). He has been propogating in water for about a month or so -- do these roots look long enough to transition him into soil or should I wait a bit longer?
