I don't have a lot of space but I managed to fit in a little propagation station.
I repotted my Golden propagation in clay pot. I added some other props, Neon and and unknown (something I got from someone else). I didn’t have an upsize pot, I definitely didn’t expect the root system to be so freaking huge! I think it may be the Great White mycorrhizae I put on the roots before planting.
Let’s see if we can save any of these from death XD
So excited to have babies! I’m just not sure when I’m supposed to move them from here to pots. Any suggestions on my next step?
Are these even going to work to propagate they’ve been here for a week now they look like the end is rotted
Anyone know of are good place to purchase anthurium seeds?
Introducing Prop Buddies! No more cuttings slipping too deep into your water! Temu has them, works out to less than 1 dollar a piece.
Found this little tradescantia clipping in the planter of another purchase and decided to give it a chance. I’ve never propped before and it’s actually working! Rooted after a few weeks and I’ve added fertilizer, so far so good. It started out with three leaves. ☺️
I’m a fairly new plant mama. This is from one of my first spider plants that I propagated. There was a gap between the soil and the side of the pot, so I pulled it out to look. Should I go ahead and repot? Or wait until spring? Thanks for the help!
My fiddle fig is really sparse around the middle of his branch. Is there a way to air propogate this? In one of those little balls/Saran wrap filled with sphagnum moss so that it takes root and I can plant it again or something? Or is there a way to get him to grow new leaves in that area somehow? I really don't wanna cut him 😔
Was given these clippings and got a root on one and the spindly one is getting longer How do I keep this up though I don’t keep my house warm is usually 65-67 degrees and they’re about 20 feet from a window Any changes? (Stays Sitting in glass of water)
I propagated my pothos and put it in soil. Now it’s dying, any reasons why?
Pollen bagged and dated, hopefully I can use it soon
Hey everyone! I am currently about to propagate my maranta prayer plant due to a root issue. Am I suppose to let it callous over before putting it in water?
I started this the first week of October, and with this method am just now starting to see tiny air roots and little plantlings. So, if you use this method for leaves, don’t give up, it takes three months or so to see much. I’m definitely wondering if it would have been better to cover the end of the leaf with a small dusting of soil from the start.
My cutting grew it's first leaf
My coffee seedling has gone floppy. Is this normal?
Does anyone know why my Money Tree is getting these white spots and orange-yellow ones? I cut them, is that okay? Should I do anything different? I live in a now winter state.
attempting to propagate my succulent after its stems started blackening - cut off the seemingly healthy part of the stem and now waiting for ends to callus- this is what it looks like after 2 days: the ends now look black inside, is it just dead now?
My mystery plant. I found a bulb when clearing a friend's garden of weeds and decided to plant it and see what would happen. I still have no idea what it is though.
