Just planted this dude i've been propagating since 12/2/23

Hello, Iâm not to familiar with propagating and am wonder if this lil guy my spider plant sprouted could be cut and made into a baby spider plant? If so whatâs be the right way to do so?
The girl in front of me at the plant store today wasnât paying attention and let the door close on the plant she had just purchased and kept walking. As Iâm walking out I find this. What is the best way of propagating this piece? Iâm guessing because it has aerial roots it should be able to grow, I just want to get it into the correct medium to encourage that growth.
Hi all, Iâm trying to save my money tree (whole trunk was soft with root rot) and I took a cutting, but the piece Iâm propagating is weak & bent in one place. Should I cut it above this spot now?
I know it doesnât look like much, but Iâm excited about my Alocasia corms propagation station! Here I have a Polly, Verigated Frydek, and Quilted Dream growing from corms. Zoom in for a closer look. So exciting!!!!
My first propagating efforts! I put the spiderettes in water until the roots sprouted. And was able to plant today! Complete joy! đȘŽđ
I might need some advice with these bachelor button seeds. I wanted to get ahead of the game by germinating the seeds via the âpaper towel methodâ but a week has passed with zero chance in the seeds. Any recommendations? Or should I just put them straight in a pot with soil?
I snipped these to make room and spent a few days deliberating whether to toss them, follow up with a flakey Facebook buyer, or build an Empire of Glauchids. The last one is the default and requires very little work as long as I keep my fingers clean. $10 well-spent on this trashy, awesome science project.
Propagating Iresine This is a cutting and clearly it isnât happy. It doesnât seem to be dead and the other Iresine I have is dramatic, so Iâm hopeful itâll come around soon. I read that you can prop these in water or soil. I did water with the first one and it did die and this one Iâm trying soil. Any tips / suggestions for propagating these cuties? Theyâre one of my favourite plants! Thanks!
HELP! Hi there! I found this little guy Iâve named Wes in terrible condition and Iâm trying to rehydrate and nurse it back to health. Planta experts noted I could try to propagate the top portion. (Please note, I am a beginner in all things plants/cacti) I have never tried to propagate anything before, could anyone shed light on how I should proceed? Thank you for taking the time to read/share advice!
Hello everyone, I want to propogate this ânew redâ. Are there any tips on how to do that? Thank you!
A friend gave me some cuttings of her rhaphidophora tetrasperma and I cannot get it to root. Yesterday I cut it to make smaller cuttings to see if it would help. I read that this plant should be easy to prop so I donât get it. Any advice ?
What's your opinion on taking a plant clipping from a Lowe's or Home Depot?
Hi plant people! As a plant newbie, I want to say thank you for all the advice and help you give us new plant parents. Personally, I love having a community that helps and gives advice. Yeah, thereâs Google and places like Better Homes & Gardens, but you never know what youâre going to get there. So thank you! Now, onto my newbie question. Iâm trying to propagate a Hawaiian spider plant baby in water. Itâs juuuuussstttt starting to root. My S.O. put in some bars in the kitchen so I can hang plants. I know propagation needs a lot of sun, but could I place my water/baby plant in a north facing window on a little hanger? Currently, the plant is in an east facing window on the kitchen table, but itâs trying to get any sunshine it can through a forest of plants in front of it (essentially). I wondered if it would be better to move it to a north facing window where it can get all the light that comes through (I know itâs not much) instead of scattered east light where it fights for sunshine. Would that be better for it? Any thoughts or opinions?
Can I propagate this cactus by cutting the top off and starting over? It falls over and is looking bad but the top is very nice. Also does anyone know what kind it is? Thanks
How often does rooting hormone have to be applied?
I was eating avocado toast when i suddenly wanted to experiment đ I wrapped the pit in a wet paper towel and placed it in a baggie, I placed it in a warm dark area and now I have no idea what to do with this little tree thing growing in my room. Any tips?? (Currently growing the roots in a small clear glass)
