Bought a cute little cloche at ikea about a month ago and put some rooted silver sword cuttings in leca in there just to see if theyâd like it. Theyâre growing these cool fuzzy water roots into the AIR! So cool đ

FUNGUS GNATS - help!!! đŠ Soooooo I believe all my beautiful plants got infected AGAIN đ Iâve been struggling with what I believe is fungus gnats and no amount of repotting / bug spraying / washing plants with water during repotting seems to be helping. Iâve been having issues with yellowing leaves and no surprise it was PESTS, not my watering⊠Please give me tips to get rid of them!!! how can I get rid of pests forever so they donât come again??? Would propagating all my plants / re-rooting them help? Itâs easy to clean off the leaves but I wonder if itâs the roots thatâs my problem, making the gnats come back đ Pictures of my beauties for attention.

Hereâs another update on the cacti Iâm growing from seeds! They sprout much more quickly in high humidity. I keep them in a closed container and open it once a day. I now have 28 that have grown! The challenge will now be acclimating them to ambient humidity slowly enough that they survive. Oh and now I think there are at least 8 species! This is a super cheap way to acquire plants if youâre patient enough. The pack of seeds (which contained 60 of mixed varieties) was only $5

i freaking suck at propagating. i have a lot of pothos iâd love to start but everytime i al try the stems or lil baby growth roots die. any tips

Reposting since I put this in the wrong group earlier: Am I crazy to try to split a peperomia? My frost peperomia was already very full when I bought it and Iâve never been happy with the size. It has a single root ball with multiple stems, and according to Google đ§ if I carefully cut away a few stems with some roots I can divide it. Has anyone tried this? I donât want to kill it.

Hello, So I received this pink princess prop almost a month ago now, and I feel like Iâve seen barely any to ZERO root growth! The seller propagated it in sphagnum, and I received it as shown with the one root and one leaf. Iâve been propagating in a small glass of water. I am changing the water like every day almost and itâs in bright sunlight, my ambient humidity is 50-60%, temps stay at like 77 in here. The singular root is not mushy and has good color, but the leaf does feel a bit dry and thin but not crispy. My question is: what do I do? Should I wait it out? Or should I try sphagnum? Soil? Let me know, Iâm newer to this đ€Ł
