Reposting since I put this in the wrong group earlier: Am I crazy to try to split a peperomia? My frost peperomia was already very full when I bought it and I’ve never been happy with the size. It has a single root ball with multiple stems, and according to Google 🧐 if I carefully cut away a few stems with some roots I can divide it. Has anyone tried this? I don’t want to kill it.

Hello, So I received this pink princess prop almost a month ago now, and I feel like I’ve seen barely any to ZERO root growth! The seller propagated it in sphagnum, and I received it as shown with the one root and one leaf. I’ve been propagating in a small glass of water. I am changing the water like every day almost and it’s in bright sunlight, my ambient humidity is 50-60%, temps stay at like 77 in here. The singular root is not mushy and has good color, but the leaf does feel a bit dry and thin but not crispy. My question is: what do I do? Should I wait it out? Or should I try sphagnum? Soil? Let me know, I’m newer to this 🤣

peperomia propagation progress! i spotted the smallest p. ‘hope’ sprout coming up today, roughly 10 days from planting. and the 2 month old ‘hope’ triplets planted in the main pot are doing fantastic

can anyone offer any insight into what’s going on with my props? I did find some webs on them a couple weeks ago and i’ve been washing them off with castile soap and water every week since then. I add some peroxide in the water as well. Some leaves have died off from the mites but i’ve taken them off and it was only a couple. But now about every leaf is like this! Almost indented and blackish. help, they were rooting so well before!!

I don’t think I’ll ever put a spider plant in soil. Their roots are so fun to watch as they work their way through the leca. This guy has been here for 5 days 😆 (albeit, with a ton of nodes ready to go)
