First time Pathos prop! Any advice would be helpful
Are these babies or are they a different plant? Should I remove them?
Took some spiderettes from my gymâs spider plant (with permission of course). The mother plant isnât in best condition.. under watered and burned in some places. Do we think these babies will make it? Didnât soak the soil, but misted. Any advice?
I recently planted all my propagated in their own pots and theyâre so cute! I was looking for a better way to start my propagations, what does everyone else use? Right now Iâm just using a nursery pot. Whatâs everyone else use? Thanks in advance
Hi, this is a ming aralia. I wanted to propagate however I not sure where to cut. đ can I get some help. Thanks
So I decided to try and grow sunflowers and so far itâs going great but Iâm no plant expert so I really donât know what the next steps are, do i leave them in here a little longer, put them in dirt, put them in water, Iâm just not really sure please let me know if you have any advice!
Iâve been doing a âthis is fineâ since repotting this monster (Mando). As I suspected, there is a decent amount of rot - the previous owner had covered it, I accidentally exposed it to too much rain, itâs way too hot outside etc. I woke up the morning after confirming the rot, watched another video about cutting these, bought a hack saw from a thrift shop (it is a pretty amazing looking old tool), grabbed a magazine so I could hold it, and then went to work. Mando will rise again when I have some weekend time.
*help* I am not a cactus and succulent type of plant mama typically, however someone at work was given these cutting from another coworker, who gave them to me đ they were already calloused over, so I put them in cactus and succulent soil I have, and will toss them into my indoor greenhouse like I do with my snake plant cuttings⊠any better advice, and so you know what the heck they are? TIA âșïž
Whatâs the best soul for pothos, pink princess & monstera plants. Iâm propagating them now but want to get the correct soul when itâs time to plant. Thank you
Any tips on propagating in LECA? I just moved my snake plant to LECA since it wasnât growing much in soil, and accidentally ripped off a large leaf while cleaning up the dirt đ„. Can I put the leaf in with the rest of the plant in the LECA pot?
Had to move up a size for my prop box (thanks costco muffins đ) and added a layer of perlite to the bottom for drainage. The baby rubber leaves are all growing roots!
This is my first propo to make it into soil. This piece had broken off, grown roots, and flowered from a pot of mixed (dying) succulents that my grandmother had. I hope she makes it. Any advice is welcome⊠because Iâm not certain I did it correctly. Wish her luck!
brought some props home last night and my current set up was getting a big crowded so i moved some around :)
Iâve been propagating my pothos and after a couple weeks, they now have these roots growing. Are they big enough to plant or should I continue to let them grow longer? Also the node next to it hasnât sprouted yet but has that weird white filmy stuff coming out of it? Does this mean anything like it wonât grow any roots or is there still hope for it? Iâve been changing the water every few days.
was checking up on my props for the occasional rotting ones that donât make it, and omg i have so MANY roots growing in!! ( ps i know itâs better to leave them alone but i just had to take a few pics of the roots!! itâs my first ( almost) successful propagationsđ
props i found at home depot!
Happy to report the white cactus babies are turning green :)
Cutest way to propagate!
Rhipsalis Teres needed a haircut. First pic was tester run from a month ago to see if water prop would work for them. About 30 potential new plants waiting now.
when is it time to propagate offshoot spider plant babies? this little guy has been growing for about 2 months now, and has produced many beautiful flowers that have since died
