Had to move up a size for my prop box (thanks costco muffins šŸ˜‹) and added a layer of perlite to the bottom for drainage. The baby rubber leaves are all growing roots!

This is my first propo to make it into soil. This piece had broken off, grown roots, and flowered from a pot of mixed (dying) succulents that my grandmother had. I hope she makes it. Any advice is welcome… because I’m not certain I did it correctly. Wish her luck!

I’ve been propagating my pothos and after a couple weeks, they now have these roots growing. Are they big enough to plant or should I continue to let them grow longer? Also the node next to it hasn’t sprouted yet but has that weird white filmy stuff coming out of it? Does this mean anything like it won’t grow any roots or is there still hope for it? I’ve been changing the water every few days.

Rhipsalis Teres needed a haircut. First pic was tester run from a month ago to see if water prop would work for them. About 30 potential new plants waiting now.

Got this nanouk from the grocery store a couple of months ago. I chopped and propped as it grew leggy and it’s filling up so nicely! Don’t be scared to experiment! Sometimes the pay off is great.

My string of bananas was accidentally watered from the top and now it’s all brown and dying. I was told to trim the green parts off and propagate it. How long do you let the roots get before putting in soil for successful planting?

hey y’all! so my pothos wasn’t doing very well in soil so I took her out, cleaned her up and now she’s thriving in water. my question is: should I just leave her in water or put her back in soil? if soil, when? and why are the roots she put out fuzzy? is that some kind of rot? I know I have lots of questions, but please help! šŸ˜…

My sister gave me a stem cutting of a Prince of Orange Philodendron. Any advice on how to root the cutting? Am I doing it right by putting it in water?
