Planted these babies yesterday after propagating! I plant to give this plant to my mama as a just because gift
Does anyone have any advice for potting up scindapsus propagations? They’ve been growing in moss for a few months and I potted them in soil yesterday. This morning the leaves were starting to curl so I added moss in hopes that it would keep them from drying out. This is my second attempt at potting scindapsus cuttings and I don’t want to kill them.
Does anyone know how to propagate this plant? I’ve left it alone since I got it but it’s too cute not to share
I attempted to save my dying bamboo plant by propagating it in water and has grown 3 new leaves since then. is there a way i can cut this again to make more stalks to grow into new plants? what soil would you all recommend to repot bamboo in?
My problem child here refuses to grow longer,, he’s been stuck at this length for about a year now. How should I go about creating length and even fullness to the plant?
Hi guys! I got this pothos variant probably a couple months ago with the one leaf. I'm wondering if it would start growing new leaves if i put it in water? All my other pothos(golden pothos) are growing super fast and doing well. Just wondering if propagating in water would help this lil guy grow more leaves :)
What is the best way to propagate this spider plant, my friend gave me cuttings in a pot ( i think she didnt have anywhere else to put it) but should i leave it in soil or pot it in water?? TIA! :)
Hello! I’ve never propagated anything before (useless you count an avocado tree from seed that got mealy bugs lol), but I just noticed that planta says this can be propagated. How would I do that? I think it would be super cool. Thanks so much for any help. (This is a false Christmas cactus btw)
Corm from a Silver Dragon 🙌🏼🖤 and the sick plant I bought to recover is about to sprout new growth
New to propagating and wondering if these are ready to be planted yet? Thanks in advance(:
Just planted up some Pomelo seeds to try and get my first grown-from-seed plant! 🤞🤞🤞
hey everyone, these are what my spider plants are looking like - they’ve been in water for about a week now. When do you think i should move them to soil? 🤍
How a knitter/crocheter propagates 🌱
so happy to see some sprouts 🌱
Sooo don’t judge me if I’m not doing this right🤦🏼♀️ tips welcome of course… anyway so I’ve been propagating this jade plant and I finally have some little sprouts coming up. How do I know when it’s ready to plant??
baby pothos!
Hi everyone, so I already made a post about this in another group but also wanted to ask some propagating experts for some advice! So I found this on the floor of an alley and I am very shocked but some people helped me identify it as a variegated mini monstera. The odd thing is it looks like it’s been propagating for quite some time. I wanted to see if you think I should continue to propagate or if it looks like it’s read to be transferred to soil and also if it looks like a healthy propagation? I would really appreciate some help thank you!!
Hey guys :) just started a little herb garden and while I was propagating some green onions I decided to try to do a little dill (knowing that it probably wouldn’t work but I’ve got time and some free window sills) I actually think it looks promising so far, but I am prone to killing plants by giving too much water which is nice bc these are just chilling there I’ve got a few of these little glasses set up but let me know what you think about my most promising little guy, and if I’m going about it wrong feel free to tell me
Just to be clear, I have NEVER propagated (successfully) before. I have been trying to propagate my pothos for a hot minute now and just seem to have zero luck with progress. I am also worried I’m just slowly killing it 🧍♀️ SOS
